Wishes Granted

Drawn at church, and a friend's Christmas concert (Handel's "The Messiah" ). In order for me to stay awake, so that they would at least know that I was trying to pay attention, after having had a late night the day before.

Jareth and Sarah from Jim Henson's The Labyrinth. Not as pleased with Jareth's face, but I like the poses and Sarah's expression. The dialogue makes me laugh, but mostly because of its short portrayal of the Goblin King as I see him--somewhat darker, and more malicious than he is usually portrayed.

After all, he's one of the Fey. They do everything passionately. Especially revenge. And it's definitely true that they rarely give up what's theirs...
